Giveaway
Our assignment was to create a product in team work, that could be sold in the campus store. The team consisted of Moritz Ebbrecht, Frederik Wrede and me.
The reserach
We started by looking at giveaways and related goods that fit the concept. Then we picked elements for our product that we would like to incorporate and produced mood boards with benchmarks. We began to create several concepts - once the fundamental building blocks were obvious. We developed the concepts for a laptop holder with extra functionality and a rotating top that can arrange cables.
Prototype
For our prototype, we decided to use very simple laser-cut plexiglass. Plexiglass offers stability, can be cut and engraved and is ready in no time.
